Job description / Role
Objectives:
To support a smooth running of the restaurant’s environment in the most effective manner by delivering the highest possible standards of service, whilst being pro-active in maintaining proper customer service attitude.

Main responsibilities:
• Assists and guides guests through the menu choice and serves them in a good, proper and hygienic way.
• Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take authorized action to correct any problems, after informing their manager.
• Collect payments from customers.
• Clean tables or counters after patrons have finished dining.
• Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens.

Reporting to: Team Leader

 

 

 

Requirements
• Previous experience of working in the food service industry at a similar level
• Previous customer care experience essential
• Passionate about food and presentation
• Outgoing and friendly to staff and guests
• Good understanding of the principles of good hygiene, preparation and presentation
• Understanding of health and safety issues
• Excellent communications skills
